Teaching Assistant Orientation

Every year the Teaching Assistant Project of the Graduate School-New Brunswick holds an orientation for newly appointed Teaching Assistants. The 20th annual Teaching Assistant Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008. The orientation consists of a series of presentations, panel sessions, and workshops that offer participants a forum in which to discuss general and discipline-specific teaching issues, receive advice and guidance from experienced Teaching Assistants and Professors, explore a variety of pedagogical methods, and learn about Rutgers undergraduate student culture. Newly appointed Teaching Assistants are required to attend the orientation.
